Archie and Amelia have been childhood friends for as long as anyone can remember. The catch? Archie is massively into Amelia. He keeps that fact locked up, like it’s classified information. Then he finally works up the nerve to tell her how he feels. And of course, Amelia is already into someone else. Her new crush is Billy Walsh, the shiny new transfer student.
So Archie does what any reasonable teenager would do. He tries to stop them from getting together. It’s petty. It’s chaotic. It’s also the kind of strategy that usually backfires, because the harder he pushes, the more it creates a gap between him and Amelia. Instead of winning her over, Archie risks turning himself into the obstacle. It’s a messy teen romance comedy with enough awkward timing to keep you smirking.

Blöd nur: Amelia ist schon längst dabei, sich in den neuen Austauschstudenten Billy Walsh zu verlieben. Weil das Leben nicht schon peinlich genug ist, versucht Archie natürlich, die beiden voneinander fernzuhalten. Spoiler: Das klappt genauso gut wie ein umgefallenes Glas mit Absicht. Denn je mehr Archie sabotiert, desto mehr rutscht ihm Amelia emotional durch die Finger. Eine Teenager-Komödie mit Rivalität, Missverständnissen und dem bitteren Gefühl, dass „Plan A“ meistens einfach nur Hoffnung heißt. Schräg, vorhersehbar, und genau deshalb amüsant.
